Every so often we like to take a look at some of the reviews that have been left for our moving company. We like to respond to some of the testimonials we get from our customers, spend a bit of time addressing their concerns, and thanking them for their kind comments. Let’s start with one from just under a year ago.

“We have used Fresh Start Moving Crew for several office moves within the last year. They have been on time, worked really hard and finished the job within a reasonable time. Final cost of the jobs were very close to original price quotes. If we need to move another office in the future, we’d use them again in a heartbeat.”

Sheryl S.

Thanks for writing in, Sheryl. You bring up a lot of points in a short amount of time, so let’s get right to them.

First of all, there’s no doubt that residential moves are the bread and butter of any moving company. After all, there are dozens of residential dwellings for every business, so many people don’t even know that we perform moving services for business as we did for you (so thanks for bringing it up!). Second, we always do absolutely everything to be on time. There are, of course, a few things that could cause us to be late, such as a sick employee or broken down truck. The good thing is, we always have back-ups of each, so the lateness would be limited and the you’d always be informed and updated. Third, thanks for noticing how hard we work. It’s something our movers and packers are proud of, and we’re proud of them for the amount of effort they expend during an office move. We realize that your business is experiencing downtime during the move, and that’s certainly something you want kept to a minimum.

Finally, you mention the price quote vs. final price. We want every customer to come away from the experience feeling like they had a wonderful experience, and that includes the price they pay. That’s why we spend so much time coming up with the quote. Sometimes the final price is a bit less than the quote, sometimes a bit more. How could it be more? Well, if you’re cleaning out the office closet and forgot all about that 1,000 pound safe, it’s going to add a bit to the final price!

Okay, so Sheryl would hire us again. What about Meghan?

“I used Fresh Start to move in and out of my first apartment. Weird angles, heavy lifting, you name it they handled with no problem. Not only were they quick and efficient, they weren’t even phased by my barking dog! I will continue to use them without a second thought and you should too!”

Alright, looks like Meghan is pretty happy with our movers too! It’s true, so many apartments are hard to get into. While many houses have sliding doors on multiple floors and a large front door, apartments have specific challenges. Enclosed switchback staircases are certainly one, as well as tight hallways. And since the sliding door might be on the third floor, that’s not really an option for our movers. Luckily, we know the tricks of the trade to make everything so smooth.

Concerning your barking dog, we’re glad you were happy with the way our moving company handled it. A barking dog is always better than a biting dog, but it’s always a good idea to keep your dog behind closed doors all the same during a move. After all, all of those heavy items we’re handling have us focused on the items themselves and our own feet. Adding a dog to the mix is certainly a danger to the dog and our movers.

Whew! So much to say from just a couple of reviews, but we truly do love hearing from our customers. If you’re convinced, be sure to contact Fresh Start!
