  Great experience! This was my first time hiring a moving company, and I’m really glad I did. I moved from Worcester to Westwood, MA, from a two-bedroom apartment (one bedroom and one home office). They arrived right on time, were very friendly and kind, and worked quickly and efficiently throughout the whole move. They also took great care of my belongings and wrapped the furniture with moving blankets and plastic wrap, which I really appreciated. Everything went smoothly, and they did a great job from start to finish. I would definitely hire movers again after this experience, and I just hope the next ones are as good as these guys!

  The two men who handled my move were outstanding.  They were both polite, calming, and wasted no time moving my belongings with care.  It was a very efficient move, so the cost was also very reasonable.  The main office and scheduler were excellent too.  I had to move my date and they accommodated the switch easily.  I was delighted with my move and would highly recommend this company to others

  The company Exceeded our expectations. Will, the Ops Mgr offered constant customer service, which is so rare these days.  He was in contact with us, checking on our progress and needs throughout the process  Terrific job! MELVIN is incredible!!  We are still talking about what an amazing job he did.  From moving 'our treasured' home items, to driving across to the heartland, and thoughtfully unloading the truck.  He was so accommodating, and caring about our home and our property.  His 'Herculean' strength, and organizational skills so impressed us. The whole Worc. Team was diligent and wonderful wrapping our furniture and moving it carefully out of our home, of 25 plus years. Lastly Carmin, who was vital off-loading, was so helpful assisting and made it possible for us to just set up our dwelling, with everything placed properly, and unwrapped. We couldn't have been more pleased with the job FRESH START MOVING offered us. Another shout out to MARVIN and CARMIN!!!!

  Fresh Start Moving exceeded all expectations. The entire process was seamless, from the initial on-site estimate with James, to the quick and helpful email communication back and forth with William. The moving crew, David, Mike, and Justin, were absolutely wonderful. They showed up right on time, were incredibly friendly, and treated our belongings with total care.   I just wanted to write about our great experience on June 1 with Spencer and Moussa (sp?). We hired them to help move our daughter into her college house and they were fantastic. On time, professional, friendly, patient and very helpful. We had a sofa that wouldn't fit through the door and they tried so hard to make it work in every way possible.   The crew that packed our house in the moving trucks were professional, courteous and eager to get the job done.  They wrapped and protected all of our belongings like they were their own.  Mike was the “Tetris King”packing boxes and furniture to fit efficiently.  Even hung my kayak up with straps.  Sean and Wayne drove the contents of our whole house in two trucks over 2700 miles across the country.  They did a great job and we had no complaints.   I cannot recommend this team highly enough! Moving my father was a big undertaking, but the crew made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. From the moment they arrived, they were the definition of polite and professional. They took great care with my father’s belongings, treating every box and piece of furniture with respect. Not only were they courteous, but they were also incredibly quick and efficient, getting the job done much faster than we anticipated without cutting any corners.   This Company helped my Elderly parents move on Monday March 9th. First thing, I need to compliment the workload. The 3 workers were quick but also careful with everything they were moving, small, large fragile or not it felt like they cared about not only my parents time but also their belongings. Second I need to mention how friendly and polite they were. My father can be a bit overbearing and their ability to not only share information but to deliver it professionally was enough in itself to have me recommending this company to anyone.   We hired Fresh Start for a recent move when we sold our house and relocated just across town in Worcester. They came and did an in-person estimate which was very detailed and the quote was right on the money! Our move was a little complicated because of where our closing dates fell, and also because of our 2 pianos! But they were super accommodating and responsive to all our questions. Their crew was very friendly and professional. Can't recommend them enough!

  I am a 73 year-old handicapped Viet Nam-era Air Force veteran. I moved on Jan.31, 2026, and Fresh Start The Moving Crew were so very exceptional. The 3-man crew were very polite, respectful, and dedicated to helping me, especially since I can hardly walk. They disassembled my heavy wooden queen bed, and reassembled it at my new apartment without a scratch, as was the case with my other precious valuables, including my flat screen tv, stereo components (I told you I was old lol), and entertainment center.  They moved very quickly and carefully. This company deserves 20 stars on a 1-5 scale. I would never consider hiring anyone else.

  Had THE BEST experience this weekend with our move!  Melvin and Elijah showed just as expected to do our move, the trouble was, they couldn’t get the truck in the driveway because the plow had made the snowbank too high. What did these guys do? They got out and shoveled until they could get the truck in and after all of that work, then they did a wonderful load the truck and a wonderful unload! Excellent service.  Verified I used Fresh Start The Moving Crew on 1/31/26. They showed up on time, and the whole experience deserves 10 STARS!!!  I am a disabled veteran, and I was anxious about not being able to prepare adequately, like removing trash in my complex dumpster. I asked them to do it, and they instantly agreed to do that and other things. The 3 men were polite, very agreeable, and most importantly, competent. They moved fast AND carefully.  They were so well-trained, that they hardly spoke to each other, because they all knew what to do.  They disassembled my new queen bed, and reassembled it without a scratch. The same goes for my stereo equipment, and everything else.   I HIGHLY recommend Fresh Start The Moving Crew to ANYONE who wants a painless move by people who are dedicated to customer service.

  Melvin and Shawn were great! We had an enormous quantity of boxes and furniture to unload (2 trucks), and they got right to work. They were professional and friendly. They treated our belongings with extra care, being sure to avoid marking up floors and walls. They were also more than willing to move heavy furniture (a sectional couch, for example) repeatedly until it was exactly where we wanted it.

  This was a move from CT to SC. We sold our house in June and stored our furniture in Worcester at a storage unit and Fresh Start while we traveled the country.   Throughout  the process James was very attentive and reasonable. His crew were prompt , professional and took great care with our stuff.  The crew that moved our stuff from MA to SC, Sean and Melvin, were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. They were supplemented by a local pair of movers who were also very nice and helpful.   We used Fresh Start for our move from Western Mass to Eastern Mass and they were fantastic! The owner came out to do the quote and it was transparent, spot on, and very reasonably priced. The office staff were super communicative, as well as flexible and understanding when our closing and move were delayed. Our moving crew was made up of Will, Bryan, Justin, David (and the “Tetris guy” whose name I forgot but he was the mastermind of fitting everything in the trucks). They were simply amazing! They were quick, in great spirits, and not a single thing was damaged! They even managed to get our one piece king sized mattress up an old, not straight staircase to the second floor. I cannot recommend this company or crew enough. I even recommended them to my realtor who loves to recommend good services to her clients.   I had a great experience with one of the movers Jay ! He was for sure a stand up guy & any concerns I had he had the answer to ! The team was professional, and handled all of my belongings with care. They worked efficiently without rushing and made sure everything was packed, loaded, and unloaded into the new home ! I appreciate the hard work mostly because moving is super stressful for me, but they made it smooth and hassle-free.  Verified I have used Fresh Start for my last three moves and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They carefully wrapped every piece of furniture and transported them safely all three times. Each time they stayed within the budget so I actually ended up paying a bit less than their quotes! I also used the Fresh Start crew to move us when Quinsigamond Village Community Center (a local Worcester Food Pantry) moved from 16 Greenwood St to 200 Greenwood St. They moved all our huge refrigerators and freezers and got them into our new, much smaller quarters. We also used the Fresh Start crew to get some new huge refrigerators into our original building. They performed flawlessly each and every time. Without exception every crew member was friendly, polite, and professional, and the Boss Jim may actually qualify for sainthood. He has moved us on our schedule, without damage, and at or below the quoted prices every time.

  Polite, professional and courteous! All our personal items arrived at our new house, only item that was damaged was an inexpensive big kids desk which was credited in the final price. Moved several very heavy items (fireplace/TV stand, workout equipment,  large BBQ grill, etc.), everything was wrapped in plastic and then in moving blankets. There were no complaints or negative attitudes, moving crew were helpful and got our big move done in only 5 hours. Owner--James even came out ahead of the move for an on-site quote and made sure we knew to contact him directly with any issues or concerns. Highly recommend this company!

I’ve hired them twice over the span of a few weeks and everyone I’ve had the pleasure of working with has been incredibly hard working, thorough, and professional. I’ve had the pleasure of working with William and Dwayne twice and they are the upmost hard working individuals. All I had to do was tell them where everything went and they took care of everything. I also had the pleasure of working with Tim and Marcus who were so fast packing all my things with meticulous care and speed.   First time I ever hired movers that quoted me a price and the final bill was exactly what they quoted. Very professional, courteous, friendly.. Only wish I could have tipped more.  Thanks guys! So July 1, 2025- used this company again, based on my last experience. They did not disappoint! They quoted me for a certain amount of time, but because they finished sooner than expected, I ended up paying substantially less! I called the office to actually tip more ( this was my daughter’s move) they are the most respectful, kind staff ever.  From the customer service,to the guys doing the heavy lifting!   I can’t recommend Fresh Start Moving highly enough. This was my second time using their services, and once again, they exceeded expectations. David, Brian, and Rocky worked incredibly hard and went above and beyond throughout the entire move. They were fast, careful with all the furniture, and made sure everything was set up exactly where I wanted it.   Editing to add another great move by Fresh Start.  This time it was Marcus and Kennedy who moved the washer and dryer from first floor to basement in my son's house.  Through a rather challenging bulkhead.  Came even earlier than expected (with a phone call check in first) and did a great job.  Something we could not have done ourselves and reasonably priced.  Thanks once again. Fresh Start The Moving Crew did a wonderful job with our recent move.  Very professional business, from our initial contact with Sean, estimate and details well explained by James, and a final check with Noah. The crew who did our move were excellent!  Justin introduced himself and Eugenio and Eliecer and assured us they had everything under control.  A stressful day just got a whole lot less stressful thanks to their professional attitude and attention to detail.  They could not have been more polite or go out of their way to take care of things.   Genuinely a wonderful business and people. I have had bad experiences with moving companies in the past but they were completely wonderful. Kind people and worked quickly and diligently. Even when I messed up the type of truck needed, they worked to make it work, and didn’t charge me for the mistake. Genuinely incredible service and professionalism.   The office staff were fantastic getting me a quote and setting up the move, as it was an unusual move with everything staying at the same address but moving units.   This is the second time we have moved and chose Fresh Start again because the first move was so superb. However, this most recent move was nothing short of amazing. Tim, Nick and Aidan not only worked extremely hard with out taking breaks, they worked fast as team. Fluid in their execution at both residences my wife and I are simply amazed by these incredible hard working young men who were not only kind and courteous but a delight to speak with when instruction was needed for specific items.   Every interaction with the staff at Fresh Start has been super positive and accomodating. I had a narrow window of time to complete a local move out of my 1 bedroom apartment to my new place, and they were able to move me 7 days after I requested a quote! Granted, this is partly due to my moving mid-March during their slow season, but still.) They sent a great 3 man crew to help me: Jose, Eli, and Dwayne. They packed, wrapped, and carried my furniture/ belongings with care. They were kind enough to take my patio furniture and 4-5 extra boxes even though I forgot to add those to the inventory list. They work really well as a team, and were pleasant to be around. I got vibes that they're just good, hardworking people. This was the second time I've used Fresh Start (the first time was about 6 years ago for an out of state move). I've used two other moving companies during that time in between for both out of state and local moves. This moving experience with Fresh Start has been by far the most positive I've ever had. I would definitely recommend them for either local or out-of-state moves. Thank you! Update: I had a wobbly coffee table that was nearly falling apart. They moved it just fine. Three days later, I just  realized that the table was solid as new; I didn't even see that the movers had repaired it for me! I greatly appreciate their above and beyond service 🙏

  These guys were great! The office worked with me through several changes and all communications were professional and prompt. Justin and Kavone arrived on time and were fantastic movers. Polite, prompt, and helpful. I was surprised how quickly they emptied my 2-story apartment - even with both narrow winding staircases, they managed to successfully move out my items without any damage.   Justin M, Will C, and Zach C were the three best movers! I am late on this review. I moved from a second floor, 3 bedroom apartment, to a third floor, 3 bedroom apartment. These guys were great! The were so respectful and professional. I have twin toddlers who the three of them were great with, never frustration of being in their way or anything.   I am delighted to leave this 5-star review for Fresh Start - The Moving Crew. Tim, Aaden and Wayne did a great job delivering our furniture with care and with great attitudes and humor. We know things don’t always go 100% according to plan but we would not hesitate to hire Fresh Start-The Moving Crew again in the future. After having a small hiccup with being able to fit all we wanted to get moved that day, the management team promptly reached out. I expressed my concerns in an e-mail after the move and within 30 minutes Sean and James were on the phone with me trying to resolve the issue.   A crew of 4 (Justin, Eugenio, Eliecer, and Ruben) moved my house today. They called to let me know when they were on their way, arrived on time, and set right to work. They had the entire house wrapped up and on the truck in a blink of an eye. I was especially impressed with their handling of both delicate and very heavy items. The unloading went just as smoothly and I was fully moved by early afternoon. Wow! I couldn’t have designed more hard-working, polite, efficient, honest, helpful, and strong men, under the outstanding leadership of foreman Justin. I told the crew if I could give 10 stars I would!!  In addition the walk thru with James for the quoting process was quick and thorough. He spent time explaining what would happen on moving day and it was exactly as described. Everything was moved with absolutely 0 accidents or mishaps. Quick, efficient, and worth the fair cost of their work. I've not had a more positive moving experience. The owner came by personally to talk to me about their services. He took inventory of my items, and told me how he thought we could balance manpower, time, and cost. I turned down all my other movers at the time because nobody had shown such integrity and transparency in their business. Fresh Start are the best movers you'll ever work with. They bring their own truck, they move everything fast and simple, and they do it with a good attitude. Don't bother with anyone else in the area, these guys are the real deal.

  This crew went above and beyond to make sure this job got done efficiently and with some creative maneuvering. We hired The Fresh Start Moving Crew to pick up and relocate a very, very large hot tub to our new house and there were quite a few obstacles they didn’t let deter them from the task.  The crew we had showed up with a smile and had wonderful teamwork and great attitudes!   From start to finish. Glad I chose this company. Met with James the owner for my initial visit. Super upfront and honest about what to expect as far as the move and even as far as cost. Breath of fresh air. Noah followed up a few times to continue the ball rolling. Moving day. 9:05 guys showed up. Eager and ready to clear out my 3k sq ft house with two 26ft trucks. Tyler, Wayne, Jeremy, Nico and Thomas started and finished the load up in 11 hours. Beyond impressed. Moved 3 large gun safes and didn’t skip a beat. Same thing next day. Showed up on time and ready to get everything unloaded. Which they did in about the same time. The best part of this entire transaction was one of the crew members first days on the job were during my move. I was so happy to see the quality of employees this companies strives to employ and he was a stand out on the move. Always happy and ready to get things done.

  This company did an amazing job! Tyler, Eric and Nick showed up on time, and were able to quickly disassemble my beds, included a big wooden bunk bed and move all of my furniture using my buildings teeny elevator, then move everything into my new second floor apartment with all stairs and a super small doorway. I was constantly like "omg, there's no way that is going to fit through there"... and everytime it did and they made it look easy. My apartment was so trashed and they were super professional and worked around my moving mess and general household disarray, which i appreciated sooo much. They even pointed out a wall in my new place that could possibly be dangerous, so that I can be aware. That kind of service is above and beyond and so appreciated. The amount of pride they take in their work is commendable. I would 100% use them again, and I would recommend them to anyone. I wish i had more stuff to move just so I could have a reason to use them soon! lol

  We hired the Fresh Start crew for a small job, namely getting a 400 lb commercial refrigerator from our parking lot into a small space in our Food Pantry. Previous to this the Fresh Start Crew had been donating a truck and 2-3 guys to our Food Pantry once a month to facilitate us getting between 7000-10,000 pounds of foodstuffs from the Worcester County Food Bank every month. For this new project Fresh Start sent over a two man crew (Rob Kogut and Logan Bylund) who showed up on time and ready to move. These two guys had our new commercial refrigerator in its assigned space inside of ten minutes without so much as a scratch on it's shiny new surfaces. They were polite, friendly, professional and capable and I would recommend Fresh Start to anyone anytime. They handle the largest moving jobs with ease and grace and pay the same level of care to the smallest jobs.

  We had a great experience with the crew from Fresh Start. They were prompt and polite. Very professional yet personable. They work fast and can hustle. Javon works extremely hard and fast to get all your stuff out and moving. John was very professional and concerned about the customer's satisfaction throughout the entire move. Javon, John, and Andrew even went to a store to pick up a sectional sofa for me, put it on their truck, spent A LOT of time trying to maneuver the large pieces up three flights of stairs, drilled the feet on and set it up. Definitely above and beyond!! Pricing was beyond fair. I like that they give you a three hour minimum (many others are five hours) and then add in increments of 15 minutes, not by additional whole hours. They were very generous in their final bill and deserved a big tip. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone!! Thank you, Fresh Start!!

The crew of Jose, John, and Jack (the J team) worked, hard, worked smart, and actually beat the original estimate.  I was equally impressed by the care the crew took with all our belongings, carefully wrapping each item in furniture pads and covering every inch with plastic cling film.   Had an amazing experience with Fresh Start from beginning to end! Zoe was great about scheduling our move despite having to reschedule last minute due to our closing being postponed. We originally hired 4 people to do our move. Two of them were held back on another job so only Marcus and Wayne were able to show. They knocked it out of the park! Who knew we didn't even need two more people with those rock stars! They moved everything in within about 2 and a half hours and were unbelievably nice and respectful during the entire job. We closed later than expected and Zoe and your crew (Noah, Mike B, Pete) were so understanding and flexible. It was so nice to be able to focus on getting closed / access to the house without needing to worry about where our belongings were or how quickly we could get them. I changed the moving time multiple times throughout the day because closing kept getting moved back, and not once did anyone get upset or frustrated.   Overall the experience was very smooth and easy. Final time price were at the low end of the estimates which was great and even though we had two pick ups there was no issues with coordination. Xavier, Bryan, and Omar did an excellent job and I was a bit surprised by how quickly they were moving. These young men were wasting no time, but still properly wrapped all of our furniture in blankets and/or plastic wrap. Excellent experience and would certainly recommend.

I chose to go with them because of James.  He was professional and really spoke highly of his team.  I was really impressed.  The day of the move, 5 great guys showed up! David, Eric, Jay, Justin and Ralph were amazing.  They were careful but fast!  I was amazed how fast they worked!  They did not stop!  Most of the team returnes the second day ( one crew member was switched our, I am sorry that I can't remember his name).  They were even more careful on the unload.   Fresh Start moved us from the Boston area to Iowa in late August and early September 2022. Short story: We had an *excellent* experience with Fresh Start. The entire team was professional, highly experienced, and well organized -- from the estimating process to unloading. We want to give a specific shout-out to Yancy and Mark, who drove to Iowa and unloaded for us. They are two dedicated, professional movers. We chose Fresh Start, in part, because they themselves handle every step of the move. They do *not* contract out any part of the move. As mentioned, Yancy and Mark drove our belongings to Iowa in the same truck that they (and others) loaded in the Boston area. We had their cells, and they gave us periodic updates on the way out. Fresh Start took great care with all of our belongings, some of which were old and fragile. We packed most of our belongings ourselves, but they packed some -- and did a very good job. There was one issue with a framed picture -- no one is perfect, and this was a small matter, given how much stuff we had -- and Fresh Start took care of it fairly and promptly. We would recommend Fresh Start to anyone -- whether moving locally in Massachusetts or long distance. These folks know what they're doing, they never delegate responsibility to other companies, and they execute as planned.

  BEST PROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANY I have worked with.  Living all over from Alaska, Arizona, Washington, Georgia, Florida, the FRESH START MOVING COMPANY in MASSACHUSETTS has been by far the best moving service thus far. We had packed up a 4000 square-foot home and we’re relocating to a 2500 square-foot home.  We did much of the legwork ourselves by packing up boxes labeling and designating drop spaces at the new house. A crew of six guys and 2 trucks showed up bright and early at 9:30 on the designated day.  After walking through the entire house and identifying all that needed to be done, They immediately switched out one of trucks to fit all the items. And they got to work immediately and those boys were breaking a sweat working hard!!  We treated them to burgers for lunch but I think half of them ate standing up, with a burger in one hand and a box in the other.  They didn’t slow down for long. It took five hours to load two trucks, that’s with a crew of six men for a 4000 square-foot house.  And that was hustling.  Once we made it the 6 miles down the road to the new house, they were just as ambitious as the day had started. Again we walk to the new house showing them all the signs and drop spots for the labeled items. It took three hours to unload everything, and they called in One of the bosses for extra manpower.  We only had two items break. One was a cheap wall mirror from Walmart less than 10 bucks. How are the other was a decorative vase.  I believe although they broke the items I could have helped by wrapping them better. They were very accommodating in dealing with the damage items.  One of the biggest help is that we ended up paying for extra time for them to put the beds together for us and placing furniture EXACTLY where we needed it. I would highly recommend their service to anyone and will definitely be using them again in the future for some smaller in-home moves of some items.  The crew was clean, professional and polite.   I received a direct mail offer and decided to follow up as I prefer to do business with smaller family-owned businesses. Everyone in the office was incredibly friendly and professional, answering all my questions. Thank you Zoe and Holly! When moving day came, I received a call to inform me they were running a bit late due to a truck issue. I appreciated that. The team of Edwin, Marcus and Justin was great! Super professional and friendly, and I greatly appreciated the care they took in wrapping and protecting all my items, specifically some oddly shaped and designed antique pieces. My children (ages 8 and 10) joined us midday, and they wanted to help and get involved in any way they could. While many could have easily been annoyed by my kids, the guys were very patient and engaged with the kiddos, which was above and beyond as far as I'm concerned.   I used Fresh Start Moving last week to move a piano into my 2nd floor apartment. I knew I had found the right place right from the moment I spoke with Zoe on the phone. She listened & answered all my questions both by phone & email. She is AMAZING. The person who called to confirm my appointment the day before was great (do not remember her name) & added some info to my appointment without any hesitation. David V was the supervisor of my move & he called 1st thing in the morning to get us started with time frames. He brought along Bryan I, Marcus, Xavier... all super hard working and ready for the challenge to get the piano up the stairs.  Verified Moving with Fresh Start was a great experience. Although there was initially a confusion on the moving start time, once it got started everything went very smoothly. Wayne, Kyhuan, and Marcus were very efficient and helpful. They brought a truck and moving supplies, including wraps and pads/blankets for furniture , so I didn't need to worry about anything getting damaged. Thank you for a professional moving experience.  Verified The Fresh Start crew was terrific. They were prompt, friendly and came to work, not slack off. They didn't waste our time or $$$. No downtime loading or unloading. If they weren't sure about something, they asked. They wrapped and/or padded the furniture carefully. They unloaded it with care. The crew gets 5 stars. There were minor communication issues to the crew and to me. The crew did not know that I asked that they be masked while inside, so they had none with them. I had anticipated a possible problem and supplied them, but that was a communication miss. The crew was scheduled to consist of 2 movers, because we were only moving 2 rooms. Three movers showed up. This was a decision I wasn't informed of beforehand. It turned out to be a plus, and the cost was in the range they estimated. Nevertheless, it was a miss not to discuss the reasons with me. Overall, benefits definitely overrode misses. I will be using them again.

  Hey these guys, Cory. Pat and Brandon did a military move for me on 22 July 2022. I had some heavy furniture from Germany and a whole lot of stuff. They are professional,  they show up on time and they work hard. Korey in the office is like family. They are my family and they are the nicest guys. Hire them!   We used Fresh Start to move our lab equipment (fume hoods, freezers, fridges, incubators) to a new biotech facility with difficult offloading conditions including stairs and narrow doorways.  To start Holly was great in scheduling us right away.  The owner, James, visited us before the move to go over the logistics and see if there were any problems.  The day of the move a 6 person crew led by David showed up on time and ready to go.  They began wrappign the smaller requipment and getting the larger equipment out of the lab and to the loading dock.  They were able to take the legs off the fume hoods in order to get them through the doorway.  At the new facility they somehow got everything in and in place though it was not an easy job by any means.  They all worked together and for a enormous job took only 7.5 hrs.  I cannot reccomend Fresh Start enough for moving.  I will be using them in the future for sure.

  Our heroes! We ordered a couch from Jordan’s furniture and after measuring twice and waiting 6 months, it didn’t fit through the 3rd floor stairwell. Immediately after the furniture delivery at 8am, I contacted Korey at Fresh Start. They put together a crew including Drew and Anthony and were able to move the couch into the 3rd floor by hoisting through a window. It’s 1pm and I’m enjoying sitting on my sofa after a stress-free experience. Thank you!!!

  Edwin, Jose and Anthony showed up on time, worked super hard and got me moved from an apartment to a house with a pretty harrowing driveway. They were personable, polite and careful with the items they moved. Everything fragile or in need to protection was extensively wrapped. From the business office side of things, I found Fresh Start to be professional, organized and communicative. They provided me with a quote range ahead of time. Ultimately I came in almost $200 under the low end of the range, as I had done a lot of small item and clothes packing myself. I would absolutely recommend Fresh Start to friends and family.

 recommends James and his great crew loaded the truck and moved us to Texas.  It was a very hot and humid day in MA but this crew never slowed down.  They did an amazing job loading the truck - everything fit with no problems - and not one thing was even scratched.  James gave us his contact info and checked in with us every day during the drive to Texas which was so reassuring.   We were very pleased with the price and the entire move.   if i could give more than five stars i would. this was our second round moving with the fresh start moving crew. elyssa was our main point of contact from the quote to the post move follow up and was very patient with us even after we had to change the date last minute. james came before the move for an on-site visit to make sure everything would go as planned and made special notes to ensure the crew had the correct tools (lots of wheels because we were very far from our apt building’s freight elevator). i was extremely nervous about the move because it always costs more than you think it will and moving is such a stressful experience. on the morning of the move, nick l showed up and was the crew leader or four smiling and energetic staff. nick, bryan i, david, and john had a real sense of urgency and clearly were experienced because despite our numerous boxes of heavy books and multiple sleeper sofas into a second floor apartment…they finished earlier than the quoted job was slated to take. i HIGHLY recommend going with the professional experienced team at fresh start moving crew. you might find a lower quote other places but their skills and professionalism were well worth it.

  We recently moved a two bedroom house contents from Massachusetts to Florida.  Fresh start did a great job.  The booking and estimate process were easy and quick.  The final price was actually little bit less than the estimated. The two movers, Nick and Bryan are very professional.  They were on time, moved quickly and carefully.   To be honest, Fresh Start wasn’t the first company we considered for packing up the treasures from our large three story home. But following  a visit by James, one of the owners, and his comforting explanation of Fresh Start’s services, we decided that his company was worth taking on the task. And how right we were! The seven-person team assembled under the direction of Holly, with David working as site manager, was exceptional. Nick and Jake receive accolades for their diligent wrapping and carrying of especially delicate items. Will cared for our artifacts like they were his own— in fact, he was moving house during this timeframe! Similarly, Neal and Matt worked tirelessly moving scores of heavy boxes from our house to truck and then helped off-load the items carefully into two large storage rooms at a warehouse some distance from our home. As always, the challenge was to secure our household effects (HHE) safely in the allotted space  Overseeing this procedure was one of David’s many responsibilities, and he carried it out with distinction. Concerned that our two truckloads of HHE would not fit into the two large rooms allotted to them, we had privately arranged with the storage company to prepare a third room for use on an “as needed” basis. David didn’t know this, but he was so proficient in his careful packing, that this “reserve” room was not required. All in all, we give top marks to Fresh Start. We thank them and Holly, David, Jake, Nick, Will,  Neal and Matt for helping to launch us in our new beginnings, as well.

  We used Fresh Start to complete our move.  I am a claims adjuster that handles moving and storage claims, so I was expecting the worse, but got the best!  They were excellent. They were prompt, professional, fast,  efficient and treated us all with respect.  They made sure to walk through at the beginning and the end of the pick up and the drop off to make sure they got everything and left everything.  The whole crew was upbeat and smiling, they played great music during the packing and pick up that had us all singing.
